Finding Home

Finding home.

WHAT DOES HOME MEAN TO YOU?

The word home means a world of different things to all of us; family dinners, sense of community, stable payments, and tax perks. While these are the major benefits we think about, it’s the intangible events that make us truly happy.

For us, home is the sense of reconnection. Our lives are full of amazing and unique adventures. We venture out into the unpredictable world to follow our passions, we fail and we succeed, we meet people from all walks of life, and we grow stronger every single day. Home is returning to our loved ones, reuniting with longtime friends, and rejoicing with new acquaintances as we share our past and a vision of the future.

Once you determine how home resonates with you and are ready to embark on a new chapter in your life, we welcome you to scroll down and learn five simple steps to buying a home.

the 5 step buying process

1. CONSULTATION & Education

Ask questions so that are you educated and familiar with the process. If something is important to you, ASK! The more questions the better. You have already started this step, way to go!

2. Speak with a Mortgage Lender

Meeting with a Mortgage Lender will provide you with loan options and how much home you can afford. You will receive a Pre-Approval Letter which is needed for your contract offer when you find your home.

3. Search for your new Home

Using your dreams and requirements, we will continue to put together a list of homes that we feel you will love. Together, we will explore the homes that will be a perfect fit for you.

4. Negotiate your Offer

We found your home! It’s important that the contract offer includes clauses to protect you as a buyer. Equally important is positioning your offer correctly to beat out the competition.

5. Inspections & close of escrow

We always highly recommend a home inspection. Once the contract is accepted, you have 5-10 days to start the inspection of your future home. After the inspections and appraisal, you sign the last few documents, make sure finances are in order, and receive your keys! Congratulations on your new home!
